In September 2014, 40 of us (18 Members and 22 Guests) travelled across to Galway, on the West Coast of Ireland. We left early on Sunday, 14th September, and returned early evening Saturday, 20th September. Linked to from below is a page on each day. We travelled by coach, driven by the admirable Philip. The tour was led by Ray who, at each stage, counted us all out and counted us all back in.

The trip was greatly enjoyed by all with everyone appreciating the opportunity to get to know others better. It really was a trip when people made friends and the spirit was excellent. Many thanks to Ray for making the excellent arrangements, with everything working out very smoothly.

[P.S. At the President's Evening on 22.10.16 (E16o), Geoff L. kindly showed us the 'home video' he had produced on the trip. This was viewed with great pleasure and both reminded those who went on the trip about the trip and enabled those who did not go on the trip to see what we got up to.]
